How do I select the right template collection for me?

Our range of insoles adapts to your lifestyle and specific needs. The Sport Collection is ideal for athletes and high-impact activities, while the Casual Collection is designed for everyday use and long-lasting comfort. Both offer an innovative option that allows you to select your insoles based on your specific requirements. When you select either, we'll guide you through an interactive process where you'll answer key questions. These questions ensure you get the insoles that best suit your needs, improving your daily experience, whether during sports, work, or just in your everyday life.

Are these templates really custom-made?

Configurable Insoles - Not Custom-Made: At Deporwell, we have the technical capacity and knowledge to manufacture 100% custom-made insoles. However, due to current health regulations, we are limited to offering configurable insoles rather than custom-made ones. Our focus is on adapting each insole as closely as possible within these legal parameters, ensuring a product that meets your specific needs and comfort preferences. Although restrictions prevent us from offering completely custom-made insoles, we strive to provide a solution that meets your expectations and complies with legal guidelines.

What is the difference between custom, configurable, and generic templates?

The main difference between generic, configurable (such as Deporwell's) and custom-made insoles lies in the level of adaptation to the user's specific needs.

These are dual-size products, designed to fit a wide range of foot and shoe types, without taking into account the individual anatomy of each person's foot. These insoles may offer a high level of comfort and support, but they are not tailored to the specific needs, foot shape, or lifestyle of the user.

Deporwell's configurable insoles allow you to determine which key elements of the foot best suit the user's needs. Although they are not designed based on the exact biomechanical shape of your feet, they allow for configuration based on various parameters such as your activity, preferred color, or the elements you wish to include to improve well-being and comfort. This approach allows users to select options that best align with their needs and lifestyle, offering better support and comfort than generic insoles, but without reaching the level of custom-made insoles.

These insoles are manufactured after a detailed analysis of the user's feet, including their specific shape, biomechanics, and any particular medical conditions. They are completely unique to each individual and require the intervention of healthcare professionals, such as podiatrists, for their design and manufacture.

What materials are used in Deporwell insoles?

We carefully select the materials for our insoles to suit different lifestyles and needs. For our Casual and Sport collections, we use EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) of various densities, recognized in the foot care industry for its comfort, lightness, and durability. This choice ensures effective cushioning and adaptive support, ideal for daily and sports activities.

Are Deporwell insoles suitable for specific foot conditions?

Yes, Deporwell insoles are designed to be beneficial for a variety of specific foot conditions. Our approach ensures that each pair of insoles is tailored to our customers' needs. We work closely to understand your unique challenges and design insoles that not only help improve your quality of life but also promote greater foot well-being and comfort. However, we always recommend consulting a foot health specialist to ensure our insoles are the right choice for your specific situation.

How can I care for and clean my insoles?

To care for and maintain your Deporwell customizable orthotic insoles, it's essential to follow some simple but effective practices. First, it's important to clean them regularly to ensure their hygiene and durability. To do this, you can use a soft cloth slightly dampened with water and a little mild soap. Avoid immersing them in water or using harsh chemicals, as this could damage the insole material. After cleaning, be sure to air dry them completely, avoiding direct exposure to sunlight or heat sources such as hairdryers or radiators, as excessive heat can deform them or deteriorate their quality. Additionally, it's recommended to remove the insoles from your shoes at the end of the day to allow them to air out. This helps remove moisture and keeps the insoles fresh and odor-free. By following these simple steps, your Deporwell insoles will stay in optimal condition, providing you with comfort and support day after day.

Can I use the insoles with different types of shoes?

Of course! Deporwell's configurable orthotic insoles are designed to fit a wide range of footwear, ensuring comfort and support for different lifestyles. Thanks to their versatile design, they can be used in both athletic shoes for your physical activities and more formal footwear for everyday wear. Their adaptability doesn't compromise the quality or support they offer, allowing you to enjoy consistent well-being no matter what type of footwear you choose.

How do I know what size template I need?

To choose the correct size for your Deporwell custom orthotic insole, it's important to select the size you normally wear in your regular shoes. This ensures a perfect fit and optimal comfort. This way, you'll be sure to get insoles that fit your shoes perfectly, providing you with personalized support and comfort.

Does Deporwell offer configurable template options for children?

Currently, we're focusing on adult insoles. Stay tuned for future updates to our product range.

Are there any usage restrictions for Deporwell insoles?

Will I feel immediate relief with Deporwell's configurable insoles?

The experience with our Deporwell configurable insoles may vary depending on your individual needs. Many of our customers report noticeable improvement from the first use, thanks to their ergonomic design. However, in some cases, your feet may require a period of adaptation to this new form of support. Our insoles are designed to improve your comfort, but if you are not used to ergonomic support, there may be a brief initial adjustment period. Remember, we are committed to your well-being and our goal is to help you achieve a more active and healthy life with maximum comfort.

How should I use my Deporwell insoles?

After receiving your Deporwell insoles, which are delivered to your home within 5-7 business days, we recommend starting to use them gradually. Insert the insoles into your usual shoes, replacing the original insoles first, to ensure an optimal fit. We recommend starting by wearing them for a few hours a day, gradually increasing the time of use. This will allow your feet and body to comfortably and effectively adjust to the new level of support our insoles offer.

Where are Deporwell shoes made?

At Deporwell, we pride ourselves on the quality and origin of our products. All of our insoles are designed and manufactured in Spain, in a state-of-the-art orthopaedic laboratory, where we combine expert craftsmanship with advanced technology. This process allows us to ensure a high standard of quality and precision in every insole we produce, reflecting our commitment to care, well-being, and an active lifestyle. Our focus on innovation and quality is a fundamental pillar of Deporwell's mission to be a trusted and respected brand for improving well-being.

How long will my Deporwell insoles last?

Deporwell insoles are made with high-quality materials, ensuring superior durability compared to generic insoles available on the market. The lifespan of our customizable insoles varies between 1 and 2 years, depending on use and care. This longevity is due to the combination of our advanced technology and the premium materials used in their construction, which guarantee sustained performance and constant support for your feet.

How is my insole configured?

We guide you through a short interactive questionnaire. Based on your answers (arch type, discomfort, activity…), our digital system selects the ideal combination for you.

If you’d like to fine-tune the configuration even further, you can add a 3D scan from your mobile*, which detects your arch type and position, as well as your foot width.

The entire process is online.

And throughout the configurator, you’ll be assisted by Welly, our AI virtual assistant, who’s always available to answer your questions or help if anything is unclear.

*The scanner is currently available for iOS devices. Android version coming soon.

How do you know what I need with just a few questions?

Because it’s not a generic questionnaire.

We’ve collected over 40,000 real configurations from users with different gait types, discomfort levels, and activity profiles.

Using that data, we developed a system that recognizes patterns and knows which combinations work best in each situation.

When you answer, you’re not filling out a form—you’re activating a system that turns your responses into a configuration tailored to you.

And if you still have doubts, you can add a scan from your phone to fine-tune the recommendation.*

It’s not magic. It’s technology applied to comfort.

*Currently available for iOS devices. Android version coming soon.

What should I select if I feel discomfort in my feet?

During the configuration, we’ll ask if you feel discomfort when walking, standing, or doing sports.
You can select one or more areas based on what you feel:

- Metatarsal area (front of the foot, near the toes)
- Heel area (back of the foot)
- Sole or arch (middle part of the foot)
- No discomfort (if you don’t feel anything specific)

This information helps us adjust the insole’s structure to give you greater comfort based on your case.

And if you’re not sure—no worries. Just select what best matches what you usually feel.
Our system takes all your answers into account to tailor the configuration to you.

What type of base should I choose?

In the configurator, you’ll be able to choose between two base types depending on the footwear you’ll be using your insoles with:

- Standard Base: This is the recommended option whenever your shoes allow for it. It offers greater cushioning without compromising arch support, making it ideal for everyday use or sports shoes with good internal space.

- Thin Base: Designed for tighter footwear, such as cycling shoes, football boots, or some minimalist running shoes. While thinner, it maintains the same level of arch support as the standard base.

Whenever possible, we recommend choosing the standard base, as it provides extra comfort and better shock absorption.

What firmness should I choose for my insoles?

During the configuration, you can choose between two firmness levels for your insole base:

- COMFORT: Softer and more flexible. Recommended for daily use, walking, standing for long periods, or if you prefer a gentler feeling underfoot.

- PERFORMANCE: Firmer and more responsive. Ideal for more intense sports activities where you need stability, precise footwork, and a more direct feel from your shoes.

Both options provide the same arch support. The choice depends on your activity level and comfort preferences.

What arch type should I select?

The arch type is one of the key elements we use to adjust the support in your insoles. In the configurator, you can choose from:

- Low Arch: Minimal curvature in the midfoot area, with almost full contact.

- Medium Arch: The most common. Visibly curved but balanced.

- High Arch: Strong curvature in the midfoot, with more pronounced contact at the heel and forefoot.

What if I don’t know my arch type?
No worries. If you select “I don’t know,” the system will apply a default medium arch configuration — the most common — which usually works well in the absence of specific discomfort or conditions.

Also, if you’re using an iPhone and still unsure, we’ll offer you the option to use our 3D scanning system to detect your arch type more accurately.
If you don’t have an iPhone, that’s totally fine — the rest of the configuration still adapts effectively to your needs.
